Does anyone have some recipes I could use my cookie cutters with? I got some the other day from Michael's Crafts (I couldnt resist, they were Halloween themed), but I cant find anything to really use them with! My cookie batter is always too thin and wont roll out.
Any suggestions? |

I will find a recipe that has been passed down to me from mom that was her great grandmothers for you..........makes a thick cookie, that has honey and lemon in it...........and oh you will love it

a basic sugar cookie or gingerbread cookie recipe will suffice.

I would love the honey/lemon cookie recipe as well, my son will love them!
You can try a butter cookie, I've had better luck with butter cookies than sugar cookies when rolling them out. I used to have a recipe that worked well, I'll see if I can find it. Something my sister does, though I've never tried it. She makes rice krispie treats, presses them to the thickness of the cutter, and uses that. Of course, she also colors the marshmallows orange and black. |
