Topic: Why... | |

Why is it that some people are very good at giving advice...
but then don't use that advice in their own lives??? This is'nt about anyone in peticular... I would just like some feedback on this "topic"... thanks... |

it is easier to see it in others than to live it within yourself
yeah what adj said
in a round about way people don't see fault with there selfs, so they don't need advice. but find it easy to offer advise to others
because its easier to see faults in otherrs ,however being perfect myself its so easy to offer advice
I think it is easier to give advise than to take advise. Some just find it easier focusing on others, rather than themselves. Did I say that right??

I think some do need guidence but like the lady said not many do

Maybe they are speaking from experience, yet still haven't learned for themselves but, do know enough to give advice. Seems to contradict but I know I'm guilty of it.

point taken, sorry thanks for setting me straight

I just wanted some opinions on this subject... |

Old saying "Do as I say,not as I do."
Easier to tell someone else how, than to make sure you live what you say. Just a fact of life. |
i still shouldn't have said what i did, no excuses
just learning as i go |

Sage as always, you have come across with just the right thing to say. It doesn't just apply to parents telling thier kids.
I agree with sage too.

Wish I would follow my own advice.
so smart, yet so dumb. I get by with a little help from my friends!! Thanks to all of YOU. |
well i guess the cats out of the bag , sorry good at giving but nat a taking it
yeah I'm afraid that I'm guilty too... great at giving advice and matching people up. Terrible at taking advice (guess I think I know it all so why should I? ) and finding my own match....

That's funny well it's simply because they don't practice what they preach

Because it is easier to see the splinter in anothers eye. Than to see the log in our own.

"I can be someone's crying shoulder, but I can't be it for myself. I can tell someone they are pretty, but if they tell me than I won't believe it"
Thats what I thought about. |
