 I know its only preseason and we lost last week but im so geared up for the game against the redskins tonight. I know that there are steeler fans in so many different cities/states...anyone on here want to own up to liking the steelers or want to just say who your favorite team and or player is?????

what's up brooke. i don't really have a single favorite player but i have always liked mcnair, barry sanders,spielman and bettis.
i root for the lions but i always liked the way the steelers played ball when cowher was coaching them. GO LIONS!! |

ward is a good player. for some reason i always like the guys that may not have the talent of some of the superstars but they put up the same type of numbers. shows they got some heart.

as for the cowboys...no offense please but they always seem so cocky...are they all like that all the time? you would know better than i if you are a fan. |

Steelers will ROCK this year!! I grew up 2 hours from Pittsburgh!! The new coach seems like a hard driver!!

It's hard to tell how good they will be because of the coach change but pre-season looks pretty good!!

Steelers looked pretty good but Big Ben said that they missed a lot of assignments and need to get a lot sharper before the season starts. That's what pre-season games are all about....working out the kinks!!

LOL..Rothlessburger seems to have his brain back in place after all the concussions but I still worry about him getting hit again. Once you have had a couple of those it is much easier to get injured again.

I agree but hey we always have Batch, i think in my opinion that he would do a better job. I have thought that from the beginning and honestly im so tired of hearing about Big Bens everything...lol...that was last season and he was the stupid one....its over...new year...lets get on with it and play some football!!!!

Oh I agree that Batch looked better than Ben. I am not sure if it's a money thing or if Ben performs better in practice or what the criteria is for choosing Ben over Batch. It may be that they spent so much money on him that they must use him as much as possible. It's a good question that maybe someone else can answer.
