You are suffering from Oneitis, usually found in men and therefore I offer this posting on the disease, unfortunately, I see a rise in the frequency of this disorder:

Hey all, it’s Bojangles here with a quick post on that disgraceful oneitis disease which destroys a man’s manliness and reduces him to a withering, whimpering, whimsical wreck. oneitis sucks

The last time one of the Bromigo’s suffered from this terrible affliction of oneitis was last year was our lad Matt. The source of his unnatural oneitis affection was this Italian lady. kill oneitis

We’ve all been through it, it leads to a total incapacitation of the man’s logic, reason and interest in hobbies, hygiene and restful sleep. Thankfully Matt had his Bromigos and his side guns in hand and he’s forgotten about his unnatural affection for this lady from afar. Get rid of oneitis


Bromigos to the rescue
There’s two forms of oneitis, I gave some advice to a fellow RVFer:


It exists in two forms, a precoital and postcoital expression. The precoital form occurs when two things happen: A girl who imitates a precise beauty of the face that closely matches the template that the man carries in his head for a perfect woman and if this girl is within the man’s visual and aural field. The postcoital form comes when the same as above is met but the man has had sexual relations with the girl and no longer does (the “no girl will ever be as good as her” crap).

Roissy said: oneitis is bad

Beauty + proximity = acute oneitis

Beauty + former proximity + memories = malignant oneitis

The second is more damaging to a man’s self esteem and in the long term health as it’s resistant to therapeutic intervention.

” Acute oneitis is often solved rather simply by administering an alpha-pak of anti-obsessives, which are slutty women almost as good looking as the infectious agent but more enzymatically compatible. Side effects include drowsiness after finally busting a nut in a flesh and blood sex partner.”

The victim is burdened with obsessive-compulsive daydreaming when the object of lust is not present. It also leads to blinding the man from alternative sexual opportunities in his midst.

Now how crazy is this? You’d think the broad would find it romantic though, right? I mean this grizzly Turk traveled for 8 months to the shores of her abode, against battering sea and wind. Look at the broad he is chasing and look at him, he’s very rich what with his yacht, quite handsome for his age and is at least 2 points above her. However his oneitis disease has led to him to believe that she is 2 points higher than her actual worth when the truth is this girl would not even be a warmup set. He has projected a beauty onto her that every man does about their partner/stalker style crush. Get rid of oneitis

Of course his journey starts from the myth about THE ONE. The Soul Mate myth, which has been socially conditioned into men and women through their formative years. Oneitis comes about because of this, it’s an unhealthy dependency and believing in THE ONE means you are losing control and power over a certain aspect of your life. no more oneitis

So how did we cure Bromigo Matt and this horrendous condition of his?

He took a month off from chasing skirt and pursuing his other hobbies. He deleted the lady in question’s number and hid her from his Facebook profile. When he returned to the field he started to game girls hotter than he used to and approached like a hound. He immersed and invested himself in these new girls and forgetting his investment in his oneitis. Naturally you are going to value that which took time and effort winning over. Man naturally assigns a much higher value to her than to himself. help oneitis

Of course the above path does not work for everyone, you need to be strong to do the above and you need strong support. Hence I’ll finish with a quote from a wise man.

Finally, if none of the above works, scour the earth for a woman who is as beautifully evil as your ex was, and fall in love with her before you’ve said “hi”. The ensuing passionate fling and humiliating breakup should replace your old oneitis with a new oneitis, which, if nothing else, is at least a change of scenery.
