Topic: Light Me Up

Please light me up again. Send me a note to begin. Make a joke like you do, to add a little dose of YOU. At the end of a trying day, you remind me how to play. Every time you light my face with witty charm and easy grace. You have become a friend indeed never speaking just to please. I only hope you feel the same and count me friend, not just in name. I know one day when we meet, my lit up smile is what you’ll greet. So light me up one more time, if not just to prevent me from committing more rhyme.
