A Response To The Islamic Lawsuit In Dearborn Against McDonald’s

Islam shows its face again. And of course where would it come from, but Dearborn, Michigan? Arabs in Dearborn, Michigan have sued McDonald’s for not serving a halal chicken sandwich.

How ridiculous will it get? Islam, a religion that is not compatible with a western society. It has no intention to integrate into our free, American way of life. Now McDonald’s is paying out $700,000 because two of its stores in Dearborn have been accused by Muslims of not serving a halal chicken sandwich.

Fox News reports,

McDonald’s and Finley’s Management Co. agreed Friday to the tentative settlement, with that money to be shared by Dearborn Heights resident Ahmed Ahmed, a Detroit health clinic, the Arab American National Museum in Dearborn and lawyers.

Ahmed’s attorney, Kassem Dakhlallah, told The Associated Press on Monday that he’s “thrilled” with the preliminary deal that’s expected to be finalized March 1. McDonald’s and Finley’s Management deny any liability but say the settlement is in their best interests.

The lawsuit alleged that Ahmed bought a chicken sandwich in September 2011 at a Dearborn McDonald’s but found it wasn’t halal — meaning it didn’t meet Islamic requirements for preparing food. Islam forbids consumption of pork, and God’s name must be invoked before an animal providing meat for consumption is slaughtered.

Dakhlallah said there are only two McDonald’s in the United States that sell halal products and both are in Dearborn, which has one of the nation’s largest Arab and Muslim communities. Overall, the Detroit area is home to about 150,000 Muslims of many different ethnicities.

Dr. Terry Jones spoke out against Islam and the lawsuit recently. The following is from his press release.

The only goal Islam has is to be a bully. It does not matter if it’s a bully in the Middle East, a bully in America, and of course in Dearborn, Michigan.

Islam repeats itself again because it is the nature of Islam to be a bully. It is a historical fact that Muslims become bullies. As soon as the population grows, as in Dearborn, we have more and more of this type of activity that tries to force companies, independent companies, to do exactly what they want. If the companies refuse, then they are immediately sued.

McDonald’s is now paying out $700,000, which of course we will all pay for, because two of its stores in Dearborn have been accused by Muslims of not serving a halal chicken sandwich.

How ridiculous has the world become? How ridiculous has our court system become?

Why are we, as Americans, so eager to compromise, so willing to give in to the ridiculous threats and intimidating demands of Islam, which come from individuals such as, Majed Moughni?

What happened to if you don't like their food don't eat there?

I don't see this as an Islamic issue, but a consumer issue. It was a free market decision for those two Donalds to offer halal chicken. If they are going to sell it as halal, then it should be halal, or they are falsely presenting their product. If Kallasic Pickles markets their product as kosher, they have an obligation to make sure they are indeed kosher. I don't see the difference.

I'm confused. Did McD's serve a chicken sandwich, or what they claimed was a halal chicken sandwich?

The article says there are only two McDonalds (which are n the town) that serve halal products...which indicates to me they advertised it as such.

even so (false adverts or not) Islam is not compatible to US culture. I do agree with that. THE USA is NOT home for them unless they wish to adapt to us rather than us adapting to them

Shame on you McDonald's for giving any money to this ridiculousness lawsuit crap.

That would be true of many cultures who live here. But our court system does not excuse a company for falsifying product content and preparation because the culture they intended the product for is not a popular one.

It would be like saying, yeah, they broke the law, but it's okay because they only did it to Islamists. Surely that's not become the American way.

Jewish dietary needs are not compatible with typical American fair either. If it were found that Oscar Mayer's Kosher Hot Dogs were not really Kosher, would it not be right for the consumers who discovered it to put a stop to the company suckering millions into buying their bogus products?

I don't understand how a business can be sued and told to pay damages because someone doesn't like their menu? Why didn't McDonalds appeal this decision to a higher court? Oh yeah, **** islam!

Just hope McDonalds stops selling that Halal-Stuff alltogether!
