I have to admit, I'm not too big of a Chistopher Eccleston fan. Probably because there were so few episodes with him.

Now Tennant on the other hand, huge fan.

Eccleston reintroduced me to Doctor who. I hadn't thought of it in years... He made me love it again!

I just love the Doctor. Not the actor who plays the madman in a box just the Doctor. The actors who play him between 2005 and 2013 are some my favorites though. :) Christopher, David and Matt are all so beautiful and amazing. :)

Alright, sooo...

**SPOILER ALERT**

There was some concern before the 2013 holiday episode that eleven was revealed to actually be twelve, (John Hurt being nine, pushing nine, ten, and eleven up one)and if he were to die, he would not regenerate because he used up all of his regeneration cycles. A crack similar to the ones that plagued Amy and The Doctor appeared, and it was revealed that Gallifrey was on the other side. Before The Doctor was going to pass, The Timelords sent him a whole new set of regeneration cycles.

So, Peter Capaldi can be thought as thirteen, or a whole new one.

Typing this out was more for my benefit than anyone else lol.

I've enjoyed all of the Doctors, but Tom Baker still remains my favorite.

I gotta say I wasn't impressed with 5-9, but 11 made me forget all about the "Trial of the Time-Lord".

I am beginning to watch Dr Who again. It has been YEARS since Ive seen any one show.

Any suggestions of which one to start with again? The Classic Dr Who was awesome but I am not in the mood for those...

I'd say start with the first Christopher Eccleston or David Tennant episodes.

I've Been A Fan Of The Doctor Since I Was Two. Sadly Though I Have Fallen A Little Behind Of The Recent Series, But Coming Here I Believe I Must Rectify That Situation.

I think he will be great! David is my doctor, but I have a hunch that Peter will blow our minds.

I cried when David Tennant left (I'm 51, luckily I was watching by myself), didn't when Matt left, but then did when he turned up in a cameo for "An Adventure in..." I went misty eyed when Tom Baker boomed his voice with resonance as the curator. Am I "wearing a bit thin"? or just plain daft?

That's meant to be 43 not 51; Now I know what The Doctor feels like having trouble with age- that and low level lighting when I'm trying to type.frustrated
