So it's going to fall into the sun?

Nobody really knows. Comets are unpredictable.

I guess it is.

The measurement is the approximate size is estimated (best guess) by Naza at about 3 miles wide, making it a typical comet.

There is nothing to fear.

The cosmic ray burst came from deep space where some super massive black hole swallowed a star and spit out a bunch of massive particles. These particles, when they hit our atmosphere break apart into many particles of energy. We probably need the energy.

The comet will be millions of miles away from us. Nothing to fear there... as long as it stays on course and does not bring a bunch of junk from the asteroid belt.

The meteor that hit Russia came from the asteroid belt.

Maybe it will have a lot of ice for the sun to melt as it goes by. Makes for a big tail.
