Love is a deep concern for his well being and happiness. It is caring and giving without concern of receiving.

He's my best friend, my lover, my partner all rolled into one. When his smile brightens my whole world, and I want to make him smile. Its fulfillment on an etheral plain. Not being able to bear the thought of life another day without him in my life. And I just cannot wait to kiss him again!! I think and feel that, I'm in love!

This is how I feel about my husband too...The love we shared together "lives on" and "on!" (Even though cancer shortened his time on earth with me.)...Thanks for all you wrote.

Falling in love is easy, maintaining it is much harder.

Well, let's see...the fact that I’ve never had as much fun as when I go out dancing with him could just be that he’s a really good dancer.

The fact that he makes me laugh more than I’ve ever laughed with anyone else could be that he’s really just THAT funny.

That I enjoy talking with him so much that it’s not uncommon for us to be asked to leave so the restaurant can close at midnight, when we had dinner at 7:00, might just be that we have a great deal in common, he’s very personable, and he’s a great conversationalist.

That he makes me melt down to my toes every time he kisses me could just be a sign that he’s had entirely too much practice at it.

So, I think that I REALLY know I’m in love and not just taken in by a handsome face, good chemistry and the fun we have together, is probably when we find ourselves sitting around one day doing nothing in particular and I realize that there’s no place else I’d rather be.
