ashryn and her friends are planning a trip to san antonio, but they want to hit up a beach.http://mingle2.com/topic/show/351602 some people suggested corpus christie, but you could message her and suggest a meet in houston that could include a drive to a beach. i could get to houston and i'm sure carol, glenda and maybe even texasmomof2 and 2kidsmom would show. rhearabies also is near htown but i havent seen her on in a minute. skywisper is in spring branch, karinR, mls31 and freedom4usall are in san antonio. maybe even fireflysgirl could come down from college station. txsgal and vivian would have a long drive to houston, but the flying pig could shorten the trip

it's only a 30 minute drive from here... Galveston has a nice beach, but kind of a tourist destination... but it's a big coastline, plenty of beaches here... lots to do in this area, NASA, Kehma Park
