Yes I wasn't being serious in my posts...BUT I have been stalked on-line and in person so I know what it's like...It's not fun...BUT I also knew how to beat them at their own game...So I wasn't a good stalkee!!!!!!!!!

I think that this needs to be addressed. Stalking is a a serious issue, so I think it is just as important to address the issue with the possible stalker politely. I also think it is important to refrain from jumping the gun to quickly. If the person continues to e-mail and/or bother, then it is important to block and/or if necessary, notify the moderators. This should be able to resolve the issue.

If someone is simply posting comments in a thread about the the subject matter that is being discussed, then you may be overreacting a bit.

Determining if someone is or is not stalking someone is not clear cut answer, so it is important to look at the behavior as a whole and judge each case separately.

When it comes to harassment and stalking, as women, we need to take precautions. As human beings, we need to give the other person the benefit of the doubt. Thus, like NG, address the issue head on and do not ignore it.
