Cycle of Injustice Blood-stained hands Battered heart Where blows land Drives us apart Where will it stop Where will it end Warding off blows From a friend With friends like these Who needs enemies Sobbing woman pulls a gun And ends it all Forever silent now So perpetrator freed To heap abuse On another family Blood-stained hands Blood-stained heart Even blows that don’t land Drive us apart

Ann and Kenny See the future husband At the altar he stands Dressed in a tuxedo Looking all so grand. See the future bride So dainty and elegant Standing by his side Hand in hand entwined. Pledges of allegiance and fealty To each other make They put the rings on and kiss Nothing can this love shake. Now they are wife and husband For the future years And let no one tear asunder This blessed union of two.

Hey Hipster!!...This is a nice thread ...Your poems are gentle and they calm me...It's nice that AR got her idea from me and your got your idea from her, who knows who will be next! I have to say she missed the point of my "Steamy Thread" though ( ) ...My goal was not to feature my work, my goal was to get some blood pumping around here by getting other members to contribute some of their sexiest poetry You know heat it up a bit, interact with each other! Some other members who have started similar threads include KC, Slowhand, and Sharris (Sadie)...Three of our best writers! If you haven't already, check them out!...Slow's has lots of great interaction and contributions from a many of the "Just Say High" members! ...KC's thread is just amazing, as is Sadie's...Both gifted poets!...Both favorites Anyhoo Hippy...Great stuff, looking forward to reading more and dropping a few comments along the way!

Wow, hippie, you are quite the romantic poet… I read the first five posts and your sensual words stirred my emotions, though I know they weren’t meant for me directly… I thought you were just teasing me about this thread… but it’s a really cool idea to have all your work displayed in one place… I got the idea to put all my work together from Leigh’s thread… who knows, maybe a new trend will come of this… I'll read more of your work as you post it... The only poems I had anyone in mind was "Ann and Kenny" and "Loss" as the rest are just poems. Now I have to think of new subjects to write about...

I think sensitivity comes through in your writing. Most all of these poems are quite good! Over what period of time did you write these?
