Most profiles here are so perfect and attractive. Everybody is honest,easy going,nice,real,fear God, hard working not here to play games and what's to hook up with a serious partner. If what people wrote on their profile is the truth oh my God mingle will need pastors that will be joining couples every week. Why fake profiles?

Yeah, that's what I keep wondering, here and on other sites.

Mine's pretty honest. I'm a geeky, nerdy goofball and I don't mind admitting it. Sometimes I'm surprised anybody even bothers to respond.

'Course, if the geek/nerd image would do its intended job of weeding out the non-geeky riffraff from responding, I'd be even happier.

People say in their profiles how they see themselves - or want themselves to be - not necessarily how others see them.

My profile honestly states I am only looking for dates at this moment in time.

I'm looking for dates, and possibilities... and of course, making friends. If I get lucky enough to date someone I want to be with forever, and he wants that too... then that'll be awesome.

Know a person first before jumping to conclusions. If you make a profile will you include your flaws? Others maybe users but not all of them. Im not saying this to side those who have this(including me maybe).im stating the fact. If ever i will review your profile and see mostly good in it, do you want me to suspect you also? Do you want me to judge you based on what was written? Mine im not saying this to oppose you. I just want you to see the other side.

Dodo you are right but does it mean that a lair don't know he is lieing,or a scammer with a perfect profile sees himself as a good man. People are painting black white here very funny.

Which just goes to prove you need to be careful and keep your guard up. Profiles are just a front cover to the story, designed to catch your attention.
You need to do a bit of reading to find out if you want to continue to the next chapter.
For instance I was contacted by someone with a great profile and it piqued my interest. In exchanging mail he first told me he was new to the site, yet in a later letter said he'd been on and off for the last 4 years. Then he said in another letter he said he's separated for 5 months.
So my radar goes up....way up. This person was on a dating site while married? Nope...not someone I want to pursue contact with beyond the casual.
You need to let the head lead before you let loose the gates to the heart.

That is why you need to be cautious. But jumping into conclusion is not an option. Just stting my opinion mine.^-^v
