if you meen by a limey a man from england yes i am a limey but in my country a limey is a lime fruit, While in England, at the tender age of 16, I was shocked the first time a stranger approached me asking for a fag!   Don't remember hearing the word limey though. Yanks yes. It's been a while. Cheers to England, land of our mother tongue.
