Life is a struggle that swings from high to low
Some never find their way up from dropping down below
Sometimes you go up, just for you to fall
Sometimes life isn't anything at all

Life is a gift, given from god himself
Living will always be a divine sense of wealth
But living can be bad, when the times get tough
But when life leaves your body, you've never had enough

Life is a triumph a chance for all to shine
But some sit all their lives just waiting for a sign
A sign for better future, a sign for times at best
A sign to show you that you are truly blessed

Life is annoying it pushes on your wits
But you must move past it and never call the quits
For quitting isn't only just in times of hard
It's pushing through the line and fighting for a yard

Life is a battle, which we fight upon the sands
Which we must win ourselves, with the use of our own hands
For none but ourselves can win the battle of life
For none can go in your place in battle with that knife

Life is a search, a search for perfection, a search for love
A search for hope, a search for the almighty above
A search that is shared by all of mankind
Sometimes it is hard to live through all the things we find

Life a bargain where you never get the right price
You always criticize what is wrong, but it always seems to suffice
You always cut the corners to avoid the highest cost
You can never let yourself realize that your ways are lost

Life is an arena where your the main event
Where every last bit of effort will always leave you spent
But you must carry on, no matter how dark the night
Because no matter what, you will always have your fight

Life is for living, and living how want
Live it wrong and only you it will haunt
So live a life worth living, a life worthy of praise
So live it long and live it right as you carry on your days
