The Theme

she wanted to know what was my theme
i wanted to scream
with my mouth closed
just to hear my ears pop

i thought
i dont have a particular
format
or structure

this what i get

i write what comes to my mind

it starts with a word
i elaborate

now we have two words. maybe they are two words that rhyme
maybe it is the start of the end i cannot say

this is difficult to portray
every harder to display

what she is asking
sounds so simple

yet i have a great tendency
to turn the easiest of thoughts
into something complex

and just like the opposite of sex

i dont get them as much as my own

i just write what i think

emotions
feelings
good
bad
combined

so many variations

i just love to write

like a light
making the most out of sight
at night

i do whatever comes to mind

sometimes i love it
sometimes i write something that sounds inspiring
and i hate it

every poem has a theme

every poem is different

i just want to be that poet where the theme is encrypted
