I also don't want to see America slowly die. If taking, what I believe to be, a very small chance of attack on American soil is the only way to keep from killing the ideals of American life alive, I will take that risk and hope that most Americans feel the same.

I think it's easy to lose perspective when discussing something like this. I think a lot of people begin to think of it as an all or nothing scenario...when drones are not the only answer here.

History shows us that there are no take backs when it comes to submitting our freedoms. No personal liberty that has been taken, for whatever reason, has been freely restored us when the threat passed. That being as it is, to forfeit due process for any American citizen is tantamount to forfeiting America. Due process is not just a cornerstone of the American way, it’s the very foundation of it.

While we are busy being concerned with the POSSIBILITY of exterior forces bringing our own houses down, we are chipping away the foundation of our collective house...the one that made our individual houses possible.

I don’t know about everyone else, but my family moved from Europe for a reason. Many of my ancestors died fighting for the right to due process. As did many of yours. They fought for something great that they never got to enjoy the benifit of. But we do. Will we forget how easily it can go away, or will we stand up for 13 hours and demand answers? I don't have to be a Rand supporter to appreciate his passion.
