Hi Minglers… I’m creating this thread so I can continue adding to my original poem, “When a man truly loves a woman”,
and so that you other gals can post what your man does that makes you feel loved and appreciated too.
Also, as suggested by another member, I’m making room for ideas about, “When a woman truly loves a man”,
so that you men can also tell us what we women do that makes you feel loved and appreciated as well.
Of course both genders are welcome to post whatever ideas you have about either topic.
And, please, let’s keep the thread clean, leaving all blatant vulgarity and sexually explicit volley’s off our posts.
I hope to have a fun creative adventure with this one, so… happy posting everybody…

When a man truly loves a woman
he stops what he’s doing to listen
as her voice amplifies his recognition
he chooses to transform within his wisdom

and his desire is to bring her happiness

no matter the conflicts he will take it all in stride
because he believes she’s the best part of his life

he can’t stand a single day or hour without her in it
with every breath, he takes her soul deeper into his
and their hearts beat as one, each and every minute

his family and friends can never change his mind
her life and his are forever and always intertwined
and the love he has for her only grows stronger over time

he builds a bridge between their divide
keeping tabs on her both day and night
always gives her the last word in a fight

she responds to the slightest touch of his breath
whispers electrify her longing for his love’s caress

he wants to be number one in her life
if there’s a problem he makes it right
nothing stands in the way of his appetite

he feeds his body’s greed via her submission
wanting her all to himself, betrayal is never an option
with his mind obsessed, his feelings are under suspicion

when a man loves a woman he shares her pain tells her shes beautiful everyday work throught troubled times shes not just your girlfriend or wife but your best friend,

When a woman loves a man
she’s eager to see the look on his face
to hear the voice that makes her heart race
and to feel his arms with her embraced
brings happiness to them both every day

he doesn’t play her like she’s a second fiddle
putting other women before her is an obvious non-committal
in this way he portrays himself as nothing more than a riddle

When a woman loves a man
she’ll clean up his mess even if she doesn’t want too
in fact, she does just about anything he asks her to do
unless he’s unfaithful, then she won’t be played for a fool

he makes sure she has everything she needs
from food on the table to the shoes on her feet
he brings his paycheck home every single week
