Bill Maher is known for his incisive wit; he’s funny and makes some valid political observations. If he was completely off-base, there’d be no reason whatsoever for him to be where he is today. He has been attacked in the past by social conservatives– perhaps at times deservedly so. On Friday, Maher lashed out at Republican senators for blocking the nomination of Chuck Hagel, who he emphasized is a “right-wing Republican, …and that’s not good enough?” Jamie Weinstein, (Senior Editor, at The Daily Caller) responds, “That’s not fair.” ‘ Meher: Not fair?! Jamie Weinstein: “They believe during the question and answer at Rutgers University he claimed that the State Department was controlled by the Israeli government–the Israeli Foreign Ministry controls the State Department…’” Maher: And it’s not?! Maher: “Based on every statement I’ve heard from every Republican in the last two years, the Israelis are controlling our government,” he said, prompting a huge applause from the audience. I dont know about total control, however, Isreal does have great influence in American politics.

yep,it's the Truth,Maher definitely is ILL! Sad when a Comedian is being taken as a Political Pundit! But I guess that's what got that other Guy Al Franken into the Senate!

BIS seems to feel that popularity confirms his contention's accuracy.
