My daughter just started telling me that shes been having nightmares and they are about her grandma(my mom) dying...dont know how to deal with this...as far as what to tell her...any suggestions or advice please?

Children often have nightmares. They are also called night terrors.
My son had them when he was little. I just told him that it was only a dream and everything would be OK. Also, ask your daughter if anything is worrying her. Sometimes, when kids worry it turns into bad dreams. |

My daughter had this problem when my grandmother passed, her great-grandmother. Try talking with her before bedtime about fond memories of her grandma that make both of you laugh, or reading a funny story. Soon those nightmares should turn into funny dreams. It worked for mine, hope it does the same for you.
