lovers

what will it take
what are we willing to create

I see us walking
I see us running
back and forth
we want it all
we want everything

why do we wait for what love can bring
…
the path is more than a mere journey
it’s the way to life
to our inner strife
and insecurity

without fear
we can face it directly
conquering easily
accepting hurdles and fences
going around all our defenses
dropping our pretenses

and be my Valentine then
hold me closer in the dark

release your soul’s Achilles' heel
sleep away your dreams into me

as Mother Nature holds our bodies
under her complete control
