Noticed that the former Speer Grand Slam is no longer made, albeit not HP, and the MagSafe no longer listed. MagSafe did make this load as read in an article several years ago. The technology easily lends itself to a tungsten rod via a hybrid Hydra-Shok and pellet filled epoxy sealed jacket. No big secrets here, just 20 year old knowledge of African game loads and self defense ammo. A former rent-a-cop might know these things.

00gr. AP HP cartridge: 245 gr. brass hollow point with a 55 grain carbide steel penetrator!
2,000 fps. and 2,665 Ft. Lbs. of energy.
In our testing we used a 1/2" tool steel plate to stop the penetrator. Burns right through 3/8" plate and we are looking forward to testing bullet resistant glass.
In ballistic gelatin the hollow point petaled evenly to the base of the cavity where it separated into several sharp pieces of brass.

Warning this ammunition is considered armor piercing per ATF definition.
Legal in most States- check state and local laws before ordering.

20 per box

The .460 Alliance is a brand new wildcat cartridge- Wildcat cartridges are formed from preexisting casings, disregard markings on casing.

The Social Security Administration probably bought everything they had.

Look out grandma. The people who cut your retirement check may be packing some heat.

The Social Security Administration recently posted a purchase request for 174,000 .357 Sig 125 grain bonded jacketed hollow point bullets. The SSA only employs 295 special agents with law enforcement authority, according to CNSNews. These agents are divided among 66 offices across the country.

In a statement released to the public, the SSA stated that the ammo is intended for training and security purposes only:

SSA is processing more applications than ever, which means more traffic in SSA offices. Employee and visitor safety is the highest priority for OIG, which, together with the Federal Protective Services and local law enforcement, has jurisdiction over SSA workplaces.
In a further attempt to explain the purchase request, the federal agency said SSA agents have duties comparable to state and federal law enforcement officials. The agency also makes a similar purchase every year, according to the SSA.

That hasn't stopped the Internet from spreading conspiracy theories. Take The Examiner, which has connected the purchase of ammunition with the Department of Homeland Security's recent request for 450 million bullets.

So instead of paying off the debt our tax dollars are buying ammo from a NATO Allie. Conspiracy theories indeed

I remember when Black Talons first came on the market people said they were armor piercing, problem is hollow point bullets will expand after hitting a single layer of denim so the a armor piercing hollow point is laughable. Even a full metal jacket will flatten and expand slightly when hitting a hard or mesh/weaved object.

I realize it is probably a waste of breath to insert a meaningful comment, but in the actaul event of conflict- the cities nearest the largest military bases(active military not R&D) will be targets

Only if we are attacked by another super power. Is there another super power with that capability or guts to attack our country? I don't see one currently. We pretty much have troops watching every potential enemy in the world except maybe China. I don't know about Russia.
