OK, I will take the male point of view.

If there was a discussion/ agreement, that this was a best of FRIENDS, situation, that included SEX. (WE are talking SEX, not LOVE)

He had the resources & means to spend his money as HE chose.

He enjoyed HER COMPANY enough, that he did what he wanted.

She had to option to walk away or say NO at anytime.

He was open enough, that she KNEW up front he was talking to this other female.

He was letting her know what he was going to do.

She has the right to do whatever she desires. She knew this could happen, just hoped it wouldn't.

I will pass no judgement on either, he may regret it.

She may get a chance to continue or return to the SITUATION they had.

It never was a relationship based on LOVE.

Was a companionship with SEX.

Truth hurts & call a spade a spade.

In my humble opinion , I agree with Sage .... not knowing ALL the details kinda makes us all , play hit and miss, with " kick him to the curb" therory , BUT IF they spoke about it in the beginning, then the relationship WAS companionship WITH sex, and nothing more ... I am sorry your pal is hurting tho' ..

I agree with sage and i think she should cut off the friendship cold turkey if it hurts her so much to see him with another woman.this reminds me of "my best friends wedding".he has been honest with her,she just had selective hearing.good luck to her.

I agree for the most part, but not so sure he was quite so honest in this whole thing......she's cried about it now, she's gotten angry (mostly at herself) and she's beginning to feel better.....She did send him an email asking for her belongings back (he has her house keys, car keys, a few personal items). Said he can just leave them on the back porch and they'll get picked up while he's at work......Think I'll offer to do it for her. Never know about a woman scorned
