I know me and the fellas, back in the days we would hit the club looking for some hot azz, well...most of the fellas loved the ladies their height or shorter. Not too short. But then again, when you have a few shots in ya, the size starts to not matter. Lol. Anyways, it is true most guys like women who are shorter than them simply because the guy wants to feel superior. Not that he is such, he just wants to feel he is the dominant one in the relationship.

I dated a girl who was 6ft. She was beautiful, fun, and in no way did I feel inferior to her. She actually felt protected by me cause she knew I would protect her. She had a pretty good way of handling crap though, which is kind of hot to see in person. Lol. Yeah, I'm demented.
laugh

Question: and please don't be offended...
Did you provide everything for your household during any point in your life?
If not, why would you automatically want to feel like the dominant one?
Why would a guy need to feel superior over a woman?
Where are the benefits in this for her?

Ah. Allow me to elaborate on what I meant. By "inferior" I was talking about how her height didn't bother me. See, dudes can feel their manhood threatened by that. Not all, but some do.

You asked if I provided everything for my household during any point in my life? Well, I do now cause I'm single. Lol. I was married, and she and I both worked and we provided for us. So, I am not sure why you asked about this. But, there you go.

I never feel dominant over a woman. I'm just saying that I did worry that maybe dating a girl taller than me could make me feel inferior. I don't why I felt that, cause it is silly. Once we started dating, all those worries were quickly diminished and we had a good year and a half relationship.

Why would a guy need to feel superior? Inferiority complex? I dunno why some do. Some guys have that thing about them where they need to be depended on I guess.

What are the benefits? When she whacks his pee pee off, the court will understand her man was a douche and let her walk free.laugh

I would like to hear from all the dudes out there...
What do you really think of a woman that is taller than you?
(Don't worry...I won't be offended with your answers...if you've looked at my profile lol)

Everyone is the same height while lying in bed.

I didn't think you'd catch that. lol So I will tell you.
If you have never provided everything for a female, then why do you need to feel superior? If she is also working and providing for the household, wouldn't you be equal? I know you don't have any problems with women and size, (there's a joke in there lol) , but you said that a man likes to feel superior. There is no need for that anymore in this day and age if a man isn't going to be the sole bread winner. Neither would be superior because of provision or gender.

Your question is really no different than others personal questions. Yours is height, mine could be does she like silver hair? does she want someone with more money? does she think Im to old for her etc etc. Everyone has personal obstacles in life they worry about. I think if its real love than it will conquer all. I read your profile and your a very lovely woman, any man would be lucky to be with you. No worries and good luck.

not really...I think maybe you missed the point. Everyone goes grey... everyone has different degrees of money...everyone gets old...
Most women are NOT over 6 feet tall. I don't feel I was talking about height as being an obstacle. Just asking if it really does matter to enough men for me to stay away from shorter men or not. I had someone burn me with it after I thought it wasn't a problem. Guess you'd have to be a super tall woman to understand the meat in it all.

Thank you for your compliments flowerforyou

Some men want to feel "more superior" than their mate. I don't think this is done out of disrespect. I feel it has to do with guys being...well guys. Lol. Some just feel that if they don't have a job that is a little bit more important than hers, then they have that alienated feeling that people look at them as not truly being a man. I know that's silly, but society is also very silly. Lol.

You are correct. My ex and I were equals in every sense. We both provided for our life together. We would discuss major decisions on big purchases, or savings, etc. However, she used to always tell me that I had the final call on it. I actually never liked this fact but she trusted me and wanted to not have that final say so. Lol. I didn't like balancing the checkbook and she was great at it. So she would do that. I took care of the yard, fixed things. She would make the house pretty (lol), and also would work on keeping things up too. We never had to worry about egos. So yeah, in that aspect, we worked well. She was also a bit shorter than me.....just saying. laugh

Anyways...back on topic. She's got legs....she's knows how to use them.....

My opinion but, I think your first paragraph is very out dated and no longer makes any sense. I think you might be used to the old times and ways, and they don't go with how a lot of women want to be viewed today. Things have changed tons since our generation was a kid, and so that's why you can't explain why guys need to feel superior. Men really should think about shedding that and realize its just a leftover trait from older times when men provided everything and made all the decisions. It's not at all like that now. I think it went out the window sometime in the bra burning days, and has been slowly changing ever since. But hasn't come full circle with guys that share your opinion. Thanks for your post. Sounds like you and your ex had a good thing going...makes me wonder what happened...

lol well my guess is you have every right to NOT date one lol

I don't mind it as long as he's confident in himself, and doesn't try to stand on his tippy toes to size himself up. lol
But, my post is about guys that get with tall chicks because
"they don't mind it" that they're taller. I don't want to be with a shorter guy because I don't mind it either lol that's hypocritical. lol
It hasn't worked for me. I don't think guys think about it enough before they jump in. Then they figure out JUST how tall I really am, and start to not like it with time. That's settling to me. I don't feel selected on purpose with that in mind.

Haven't dated a women taller than me, infact rarely see a women taller than me. It would be exciting to date her. Then every night before going to bed I'd wrestle with her!

It's called a snowball effect...what starts off as 'inconsequential' can develop into something with alot more impact.

Which can be quite insightful.

I just don't see how the height of the lady I'm dating will have any lasting impact in the grand scheme of things.

...Well, okay, if she is a man-eating giant that could change things.
