He is right. Its b.s.

Limit spending and use the money at home instead of spending billions of dollars on an American Embassy in Iraq. I am sure if anyone took a look at what our government spends money on it would turn their hair white.

You seemed to have missed my point. I'm talking about government consumption in your domestic economy. Please recap the discussion for comprehension.

Unfortunately what you say may be true, but that is still not the function of government.

We have become dependent on them and that is apparently what they want. They want us to be dependent on them so we will continue to justify their existence even into the worst kind of tyranny.

And that is where we are headed. Towards tyranny.

It is not a 'function', just an economic reality. Governments consume vast quantities as a by-product of administration. It's not new.

You're right. It's not new. It's wasteful and useless and has destroyed the backbone of America thru its growth and entitlement systems.

You continue to make this form of claim, however, you offer no reasoning as an explanation. Government 'waste' is not a bad thing, as it generates the levels of consumerism that maintain many businesses and thus, keep people employed. Returning to my original point, that is the dilemma for those in office and that is why spending wasn't limited recently in the Fiscal Cliff debate.

You fail to see the big picture.

The goal of the Elite is to put every nation in debt and to have at least 70% of the population dependent on them in order to justify their existence as we, the clueless public and the sheeple are led into TYRANNY.

They want total control of the money, the food, and the transportation. They want so many people DEPENDENT on them, their tyranny is welcomed and tolerated.

Their wasteful spending helps only them, in their efforts to accomplish that agenda. Debt, and dependency.
