I don't fear any man and their imaginary smugness. I see "imaginary friend" and I laugh... Why, because I'm not ashamed, nor embarrassed by someone's imaginary "superior" intelligence.

Just sayin' that who the eff cares about someone's real mental shortcomings...

@hikerjohn- Well said, but an ill example. I fear fallin because I will get hurt. Fear invokes fight or flight which can save your life. Fear of real things is healthy, fear of imaginary things is not. Fearing a god is one of those unhealthy things.

My example it fine and holds its own regardless of you attempting to redefine it as ill.

And you would probably be more accurate in saying that you respect what falling would do and you take precautions or measures to keep from falling even when you take risks. Unless your consumed by the fear of falling. That's a sign of something unhealthy.

And thats the point of fearing God. Its the same as respecting God,fearing disappointing our father. Choosing to be in obeisance instead of rebellion of him out of love, respect and if necessary fear of the consequences. And by choosing obedience over rebellion, I don't have to fear the rules. Then all fear for me turns into love and respect. In return, God gives me peace.

I don't fear anybody's imaginary friends. I fear they way people justify horrible acts because of their imaginary friends.

This is so true.

Some have questioned why God would have made this destructive thing called man then. Thats like trying to understand how a creater would make decisions based on what you or I understand. Suggesting a slight bit of arrogance in assuming we have individually learned enough to answer this question.

Others have talked about why create a being who can hate and be destructive. (in many posts)

I challenge your thoughts here. How can you have Love without Hate. How would you know love if there wasn't Hate. Without hate there would just be.

How would we know joy without sadness.
healthy vs sick
peace vs turmoil

And Loving God that did not also posses Wrath. Many who believe in God want just a loving God. They too have a distorted view of God. God is all things. Many who want just a loving God ignore all other things including wholly and Righteous. They want a grace filled God that has no expectations or requirements of us. They struggle with a grace filled God that also has wrath.

Those who do understand and believe in a heavenly father, take the time to put the whole picture together. He is even more awesome when you do.

If you're That brave not too Fear god. You're either dafter than you look or a stupid ungrateful wreched creature, who thinks he will be left alone and won't have anyone to answer. Too. I suppose you think you're self created or were once a monkey, wake up dude you still have time to fear the lord almighty god who created everything that exists. I would like to see you in a Pitt with a roaring lion. See how brave you are than, and that's just a creature of god.
