Note: when I paint a portrait this is a method I use to make sure I capture the likeness. I look at each side of the face for the feeling of emotion that I see in the expression and I try to use words that describe the feeling I get. Most people have two separate personalities revealed in their face.

Hate to say it but nose is the one place you cant read....You read into it based on what theyve done but no one can change the genetic shape and stuff of a nose...

And I read what I see. What I read is my personal opinion. I started reading faces for the purpose of getting a good likeness when I do an oil portrait. If I see the same thing in the photo that I see in the finished portrait, then I have nailed the likeness. I don't do it to profile people, and I don't claim that it is always accurate.

its all about face reading of man...an innocent creature..whatever happens in surroundings...its get prints on face..some can read it few can not. What about the female faces,can we conclude the same. I heard that female keeps every happenings inside the heart..you do not find prints on her face..except few expressions she deliberately wants to Express. Expert opinion..please..!!!

Women are no different. I read their faces too. Understand that I started doing this in order to make sure I had a likeness when I painted their portraits in oil. The faces that are difficult to read are the stone cold psychopaths.
