When we talk about power, acknowledgement must first be ascribed to the ALMIGHTY,ALL POWERFUL GOD (PSALM 62:11) that gives power to do all things some of which includes but not restricted to POWER TO:
- MAKE WEALTH (Deut 8:18) - Heal the sick (Matthew 10.1) - To get wisdom....and of course, Power to cast out devils, against the forces of darkness.. Ephesians 6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" All power belong unto God and He has given all power to His dear son our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ MATTHEW 28:18 "And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." Philippians 2:10-11"That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 "And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,to the glory of God the Father." As regards obtaining power, the bible says in John1:2 "But as many RECEIVED HIM,to them gave He power to become the sons of God."(co-heirs with Christ). Ask and ye shall receive and we must be totally yielding and willing to PUT ON THE WHOLE AMOUR OF GOD as recorded in EPHESIANS 6:13-17 bearing in mind as well that the following among other virtues are vital in the life of every true christian believer -SALVATION EPHESIANS 6:17,ROMANS 1:16 -FAITH-BELIEF-CONFIDENCE MATTHEW 17:20.21:21,EPH 6:16 -HOLINESS (A sure NO-GO area for the devil) EPHE6:14 -OBEDIENCE -THE WORD OF GOD COLOSIANS 3:16, EPHE 6:17b - PRAYERS EPH 6:18 -THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT ACTS1:8... NOTE: A PRAYERFUL CHRISTIAN IS A POWERFUL CHRISTIAN." I pray God gives us the grace, humbleness, love and power to face and overcome all challenges that may come our ways this year and beyond. Conratulations and all glory,honor,praise,thanksgiving,adoration,exhultation,blessings.... be unto the ALMIGHTY GOD for His divine ministrations and a glorious 1st sunday in church today. |
