It's rediculous when the MR/H (Mentally Retarded/Handicapped) young people that I work with have HUSBANDS!!!! and I cant even find myself even the lousiest of dates.

I am a strong independent woman, who has a great career and all the potential in the world... but because I chose to give birth to best mistake I ever made, I dont have a fighting chance.

Yeah not sure but its hard i mean you email people to say hi they should give the curtisy to email you back say ty or no ty i admit i got a few emails back an giving good advice its hard trying to find someone just keep looking ya find them

truth be told if its hard that means you must be doing something right. Most people today just want to jump in bed and thats that. They dont want much in a relationship, look at the divorce rate and it tells the story. So dont lower your standers there are still a few good men out there :)

oooooohhhh Yes you do....You need to be happy with yourself...and dont get me wrong...being lonely...and needing someone another adult to talk to ....or needing a mans touch......etc..etc...need not to be mistaken for "needing to settle"...well you get it right...You stay strong...you owe it to your child to stay strong....You owe it to yourself....It is a very impowering position to be in when YOU dont need someone to take care of you.....just be patient....YOU will find what you need....trust me....DONT ever compromise your feelings to just settle...YOU deserve sooooo much better.....O.K....stay strong.....BE strong....BE proud of yourself...YOU are a beautiful young woman with a lot to offer....NEVER give up on yourself.....

Why not try posting it in your profile that you have a child. That way the guy will know before hand if he wants to talk to you and will not come as a surprise afterwards. And then it will not upset you when they just stop talking. I men you already posted it on the public forums, so there realyl is no difference if you post it on your profile.

There's no doubt about it, it is harder to find a man if you have a child/children. But you have better odds of finding someone since you are young yourself. I'm ...well older LOL and have a young son still at home. you should see the men run

Well, in all honesty I have been steering away from people here who have kids. I just don't feel like I'm ready for it. Then again, I imagine a lot of the people here who have kids weren't really ready in some ways either. I dunno, maybe I should try to be more open to that. I do actually have quite a bit of experience with child care even, I've been helping out with a family day care bussiness for a number of years now. Something to think about I guess...
