Silence is not always Golden
It often can be grey Wishing you to tap My shoulder Maybe just say Hey! Noisy rooms filled with children Watching as they play But who will say To me one day, Hi how was your day? So bring me Rumplestiltskin So he can string me silence of Gold Wanting to relax Wanting to enjoy Wanting to share a word or two Or enjoy the silence in peace. It's quiet But the TV is on It's quiet But the children are laughing It's quiet But the radio is on. The silence of my heart Is singing me a song I can be content When the silence is golden But sometimes it's just silent. |

Very nice poem, what it says to me as i read, is where is my sweet serenity? It's saying I'm surrounded by children and noise, but I am alone in the silence, lacking adult conversation, conversations of substance.....like they say alone in a crowded room.... |

I know that one Ms !
I sometimes think you have to be a conversationalist {is that a real word?} To find someone who will talk back for more than a few exchanges of words or niceties unfortunateely i put my best substance out here in my writings So yes i understand for sure... I hope you find that which you seek \\ ....\/.... |
