I notice a lot of men are looking for "fun". Mostly Ireland, Portugal, Romania and Greece, because that has been my focus so far, but I am a world traveler, and I wonder what "looking for fun" means. Could it be a kind phrase for sex? I really don't care, just wondering while I'm wondering.

Kisses,
Golden

Well i agree with you my lady........it has become a common meaning for that word when the real meaning of the word implies enjoying and spending time with family and friends..........Most men and women both have mistaken different meanings for the word...........

My Dearest Harsh,

Thank you for your input. I appreciate your comments. I am new to this site.

There is some beating around the bush when there should be some beating and some bush.

Ah yes, my travels. I will have a great journey.

Hello and nice to see you, Goldie.

For me looking for fun is similar to fooling around.

would that "definition of fun" be just about the same as the current one for "date"?
Used to be a date was going out on a wholesome activity, maybe a picnic, dinner, movie, or something that really was fun.
Seems like anymore, "date" has come to imply sexual relations.
How about a "date" that does not mean jumping in the sack?

There are 2 views on this.

The person writting is challenged when it comes to imagination when writting which they are unable to make a full sentence.

Second of all it could be right to the point "looking for fun"... aka don't get in the car with them lol.

Fun is pretty relative.

Sex is fun. Climbing trees is fun. Poetry is fun. If I found a girl that do all three at the same time then I might reconsider marriage.

But yeah, they probably mean sex.

Also, enjoy Romania. I'm jealous.

Yep it means sex.

There are some who say it doesnt, and knowing that it will be perceived as sex, do not wish to remove it to avoid being misunderstood. Wink wink.

I agree - especially if it is in the first 1 or 2 messages and or part of a profile that has no pic or a bare chested bathroom camera phone photo - double the probability if he is wearing low waisted gym shorts and a ball cap

who in h-e-double L wears a ball cap in the bathroom for chrissakes???laugh

In my case, fun means lots of different things but If I am with a woman who clicks, I hope that sooner or later, sex will be there too. I guess to some it just means sex. Assume that it means sex and don't worry about it, unless you don't want sex ... then discuss it first.

Good luck.
