I love anime, and I'm proud to say it. My favorite anime is Naruto! Gaara's my favorite character and I (sadly) judge everyone I meet by him. I want my own Gaara-sama... I know it will never come true but I hope for the best.

Props to an Anime Lover. I am more into Miazaki, and likewise Akira is on the top of my list. Ninja Scroll was also way hot. Then there is Vampire Hunter D. Oh for the classics. I got lost by Naruto's third season.

I do HATE Gundam and Harlock though. Gundam is way too repetitious with a story line that drags unnecessarily long and Harlock is just to esoteric for me.

Seven Samurai (the animated) is done in pattern to the classic Seven Samuria which is a Kurisawa classic (and I love old Samurai movies, ESPECIALLY Kurisawa!) and was way true to the story but with ROBOTS!

I would be happy just to be able to pull some of those moves in real life. But strange you would affiliate men by the role model of a cursed character. If I remember where Naruto harbored a Kitsune and not just any Kitsune, he had the Gold Nine Tailed one. But Gaara harbors a rather nasty and powerful sand Demon that does not allow him to really sleep at all. When Gaara does sleep the Demon takes over. I do have the right character in mind do I not?

Haven't followed the last... like... 200 episodes of Shippuden, but Gaara is awesome.

I still gotta give my props to Itachi. Something about the 1,000 year crucifixion stare is just too awesome to deny.

I've come to loathe the Naruto anime.
I'm not an anime snob, per-say, but I absolutely cannot handle Sasuke.
Loved the Manga, when I was a child, and had a subscription to Shonen Jump (behind my parent's backs of course).

XXHolic, Black Cat, Samurai Champloo, and Elfin Lied are great, if you're into more than one general genre of anime.

Mugen from Samurai Champloo is my equivalent to your Gaara obsession.

If only I could somehow smush together Sebastian Michealis, Mugen, and Grimjaw, with a dash of oozing intelligence over science and literature, I'd be smitten.

Anywhom, Go to cosplay conventions. You'll more than likely find a decent cosplayer of him.
Looks, into anime, and if he has a winning personality, you'll be set ;D

L.M.F.A.O.!!!! Oh man Bugs Bunny is one of the best cartoons I've seen but sadly he's not an anime we are talking about.

I am still proudly into the Naruto series. Black Butler is also one of my favorite, Grell being the best of them all (next to Sebastian and Ceil of course)

And I hope to go to a convention this coming February, I hope to find myself a Gaara to hopefully become my mate if at all possible. I would be in high heaven if he were to be the same! Of course with his own personal qualities as well. x3

I gott burned out on Naruto after it turned into "Saske's Emo Show". I did like every thing else about it though. I'm a One Piece fan boy myself, and I like other off beat comedies like Squid Girl or My Ordinary Life.

You have to watch the series to understand. You don't mess with Angels even if one is Ubergoth and the other a total Nymphomaniac!

The only Japanese anime that I have ever seen and liked is the Teen Titans cartoon. It even has a female Japanese duet singing the theme song.

On the other hand, when it comes to Japanese women participating in cosplay . . .

If you are familiar with this one you got to wonder what the hell those Japanese people think of sometimes!

I'm not the biggest anime fan, but I did get to see Akira, Robot Carnival, and Project A-ko on the big screen. I'm also a fan of Ghost In The Shell, Vampire Hunter D, Fist Of The North Star, Grave Of The Fireflies. Grew up watching shows like Speed Racer and Star Blazers.

I also enjoyed the series The Last Exile quite a bit, and High School Of The Dead was decent.
