COLUMBUS, Ohio – A judge has rejected the request of a condemned Ohio killer to delay his execution because of his extreme weight.

Death row inmate Ronald Post, who weighs more than 400 pounds, is asking the courts to stop his January execution on the grounds his weight could cause him to suffer severe pain during the procedure.

Cleveland federal judge Lesley Wells said Monday that Post is prohibited from challenging his execution by injection because he raised similar claims in his first set of federal appeals in 1997.

The judge said Post hasn't shown that his medical condition and the state's injection procedures have changed significantly enough to warrant a new legal challenge.

The 53-year-old was sentenced to die for the 1983 shooting death of Helen Vantz in Elyria.

Do you suppose that Post's victim suffered pain during her murder?

Also, where does the U.S. Constitution say that a murderer can't feel pain while being executed?

Shoooo. I would have had him thrown to wolves for his execution. How about that? Painful and entertaining. That is unless you would rather toss his fat lard butt to piranha. Salt water crocodiles would be too quick in that they would opt to drown his fat azz first then tear him to pieces. Then there is always the ant hill, and pick your favorite. Fire ants is one of mine followed by army ants! Of course there is the Roman classic, actually this is one so horrible one of the Caesars condemned the practice... Toss him in a tank full of starving lamprey eels!

Lethal Injection indeed... Just means they need larger doses!

So, you are suggesting that animals be fed fatty junk-food?

To a dog or any predator FAT = SUGAR. It actually from what I understand tastes sweet to them the way sugar tastes sweet to us. It would be like giving Wolves Cocaine or Methamphetamine. They would be beating the glass going through withdrawals demanding we send them another fat azz!.
