Now he's in and doesn't have to worry about reelection again, he can go busting the growers, dealers and users. Creating jobs in the prison industry?

Uh... I dunno where you're getting that from 'willing2'. Obama smoked pot when he was younger, might still now. I'm pretty sure he'd be for legalization.

That's the feds, not just Obama. If it were up to him, it would be different. The government in general might not like the idea of pot legalization. SO...

That's the feds, not just Obama. If it were up to him, it would be different. The government in general might not like the idea of pot legalization. SO... Barry is Fed. He can tell them which laws to enforce. Looks like he's given them a free hand. But, keep on believing he has yer back. Just don't bend over. |

I'm not a pot smoker, and I'm not for or against the legalization of it.
I also don't care for Obama. |

Uh... I dunno where you're getting that from 'willing2'. Obama smoked pot when he was younger, might still now. I'm pretty sure he'd be for legalization. And the way he went at Arizona and any other State who were trying to enforce federal Immigration Laws might be a little taste what awaits any State trying to enforce the Laws of their State, since they clash with federal Law! |

That's the feds, not just Obama. If it were up to him, it would be different. The government in general might not like the idea of pot legalization. SO... .......swear to faithfully execute the Laws Of the United States Of America! Except,he rather likes to make his own by Decree! |

We'll see what he does, but so far, he hasn't been giving directives to the DEA to concentrate on other illicit drugs. All he has to do is say "pot isn't our top priority." As it has been though, the DEA is doing more raids of pot farmers in California (where it is legal through state law) than under previous administrations.
You ask me, this is a 10th amendment thing, where the rights of the states supercedes the federal law. |

well constitutionally the federal govt does not have the power to regulate the drug problem per the 10th amendment 10th amendment The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. |

The problem is, the FEDs bust you, try you in a FED court under Admiralty Maritime Law, and nobody understands it is the biggest scam (next to the federal reserve and income tax (IRS)) ever imposed on the American public.
Prohibition is a cash cow! As long as it is illegal the prison system and the gov't, the CIA and the criminials, will try to keep it the way it is. Taxing it leaves a paper trail! |

Um, yeah, the Constitution does give the federal government authority over the states. |

If there is ever a conflict, the federal government wins. States can pass laws that cover areas not addressed by the federal government. |
