I lurked ...err... worked at South Lake Tahoe for about 8 months back in 1988. On the day that I left, snow was falling at a rapid rate. I got my little pick-up over the mountain pass leading to Carson City as quickly as possible.

A serious questions, I enjoy the horse playing around, but it lacks the main reason I put a profile online searching for a great woman.

I've noticed that it always seem to be the same individuals making comments which is fun, but does it prevent other subscribers from joining in a discussion, which could lead to a potential connection.

The members that have been here for sometime now, how did/was the main reason that you have/have not, discovered someone of interest.

I've found that many of the profiles you address, a no response occurs. Is this because most of the individuals' seem to make contact with past incounters' or to shy to reply.

I like the fact of joking around, but do many of the individuals registar run scared after the read some of the materail written in the forum.

I have a lot of other question, but can wait until someone of knowledge replies.

I recently joined this site. Sent a few casual and non-threatening emails to women in my area simply to express I am interested in getting to know them. Have yet to receive a single response. I suspect many of the women profiles here are old and the women do not regularly log in. They might not have even created profiles to meet a man for possible dating or hookup. Rather, they might have been compensated or otherwise convinced to create a profile so as this site has better ability to attract men to register, and ultimately become paying customers when they seek to monetize and start charging an upgrade fee. I could be wrong, but this was my experience with a couple other similar sites.

@ fishman328 I agree with you on that. most of the ladies profile, you say and one weee later you still do not get a response. and most of them show last login over a month. seems they are encouraging people to upgrade to make any connection.

yep. two weeks now and not a single reply. I sent about a dozen casual emails to women. I now notice that most had not logged in to this site for over a month. Their profiles probably should be deactivated. But the owners or operators of Mingle2 won't do that since such profiles are of the women who are the most attractive. I guess they hope these women will once again login, but these women don't want anything to do with this site. Possibly the women don't even know their photos were posted to this site if the profiles were created by another person without their permission.
