I just found the story about what he did. Ras, you could have explained what he did? He got busted for doping himself for the Tour De France! He is a Pariah in his sport now. But Fraud? Ehhhhhhh.....

What is he to charged for? The American cycling federation or whatever it is has spent years making accusations without being able to prove anything. Lance Armstrong is still 7 time tour de farce champion, the UIC is just pissed cause lil ol frenchy couldn't win.

I thought I remembered hearing he just stopped fighting against them. I stopped following the story, though. It would have helped if you had provided up to date info in the thread to discuss .

The Tour De France was designed to be so difficult as to be impossible to cheat in. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tour_de_France#Origins To compensate for the extreme difficulty, everyone in the sport turned to doping of some kind or other many, many moons ago.

Why is it that you never hear about the weekly and bi-weekly testing that he endured for years before they so called "caught" him doing something wrong. Lance Armstrong was simply the victim of a relentless witch hunt, and in the end he decided that it wasn't worth fighting anymore. Lance Armstrong was, is, and will always be one of the greatest American athlete heroes of all time.
