Well; I think it would be that you love a person in a relationship where as you would like a person in a friendship with no possibility of love. JMO

Love is a noun and a verb, like is a verb, a preposition, a connective and an interruptive.

Love is like side or lateral pressure on bendable or rigid hoses, tube or vessels.

Like is like when you have to go to pee, but the washroom is occupied.

They are both pee pressure and shear pressure.

This means... love is predetermined, liking is up to free will?

if asked if you love your wife/ girlfriend or your children of the corn ....you have a duty to say yes

if asked if you love your mistress or goldfish....you can say no, but it generally goes without question, that you have them, because you like them
