The following seven states have been identified as having the highest percentage of senior citizens who frequently are forced to go hungry due to lack of funds and state and community support.

7.Louisiana with 8.32% of it's seniors going hungry.
6.Georgia with 8.74% of it's seniors going hungry.
5.Arkansas with 9.61% of it's seniors going hungry.
4.S.Carolina with 9.66% of it's seniors going hungry.
3.Texas with 9.67% of it's seniors going hungry.
2.New Mexico with 10.01% of it's seniors going hungry.
1.Mississippi with 12.45% of it's seniors going hungry

These States share one thing in common besides being largely Southern states they are all RED STATES, with all but Arkansas having GOP governors.

They are all also in the so called Christian Bible Belt where charity is SUPPOSED to start at home.

I guess they all missed those Bible classes that covered charity.
