Well...joined this site just a few days ago. Had Chinese today and what does my fortune cookie say? "The time is right to make new friends". This actually creeped me out.

fortune cookies in my town are lame. they say stuff like 'learn to speak chinese' then go on to phonetically print how to say 'banana' in chinese. I mean what am I sposed to do with that? Next time I meet up with a chinese person who speaks no english, I reckon I can say 'banana' in a pinch. whew. I've gotten some like that as well. Though usually it has an actual fortune on it as well and just has the learn Chinese thing on the back. |
