I hope you reported these profiles through the email or the profile itself. That way the site can look into it.

Not all people from Africa are scammers BTW. There are scammers all over the world, including the US.

You just have to be careful and take your own precautions and let the site know. The is the internet....scammers are everywhere.

.. let's not be gender specific - they are on the sites, covering all shapes, forms, genders, ages and inabilities. Just be careful and follow your inkling - report it - if you think someone is trying to scam you.

that's what I have found to be the case as well but didn't suggest that because it may be that the woman didn't contact me because they knew I wouldn't be interested... laugh

Asking for your yahoo or other e-mail address is also a good warning that it is a scammer regardless the gender.

Get to know the people on this site first and then go from there!
