my second wedding wasnt really a wedding, we just went to the registrar office (brit version of justice of the peace), she gave us the oath and we ...

... I dont think I will marry again, but Im not animately opposed.

I am getting uncontrollably giddy again today.

To wit:

----------------

"I would like to Introduce to you Charles Horace and the defates. Phase one, in which Doris Gets Her Oaths."

This is from a Beatles Album.

That really was a Brit wedding, what they could not leave the bloody oats alone even for the duration of the service.

--------------

This animatedly opposed thing got me mildly excited. I can see women animately opposed to weddings, as opposed to opposing to weddings in a catatonic stupor.

Each to her own.

Because what matters is how animated or how much of an "animal" she is on the wedding night and all subsequent nights.

are highly overrated.

That'll be enough for me!!!

But....you go right ahead.....

I want a wedding at a drive-thru chapel, then go through a Taco Bell drive-thru...I really don't want to get out of the car.

Does staying in the car include the honeymoon?

My wedding was nice and simple my friends from my church made it special. I wore a purple dress. Levi were to get married again is want a beach wedding and I would want to wear a classic white dress.!

My wedding was small, simple and very beautiful. It was in a small chapel (nearly) on a beach in DE, my 10 year old son rang the church bells with abandon as we exchanged our "I do"s. We danced all evening with each other and loved ones, all the impromptu toasts were heart felt. Amazingly I don't think there were any of the negative under-currants so usual at family affairs. Who could ask for more? Not I.

I don't think about another wedding, don't see it happening.

As for enjoying going to weddings, I like the idealism they represent and seeing the happiness on the bride and groom's faces but don't enjoy them if they are big expensive formal affairs. Those types of weddings scream waste and ego to me.
