You are right BUT heres what I got to say to that!!
My son loved a girl who was 14 and he was 17. Guess what, he was still in love with her when he turned 18 and she was 15, so you have to be very careful about the age thing. When you are talking about that young of a girl, you are talking about a legal thing there!
I wish you luck but keep in mind that sooner or later you do turn 18 and if she isn't legal age...it really does become a problem

Go for it to an extent. Don't get yourself in a situation that could present something dire down the road. Keep in mind the age of consent laws in your state. Granted, the age of consent only comes in to play with sex, if the parents don't like you, then they could file a report with the police, and you'll go to jail. I have a friend of mine that went through the same situation. His fiance was 17 and he was 18 when they first got together. Her parents didn't like him and filed a complaint, he's now in the registered sex offender database, and will be for the rest of his life.

Yah. A lot of states say if one is over 18, then they can be charged with statutory rape. Also, if both minors are underage, a difference of 2 or 3 years can still mean a rape charge.

yep my daughter was 14 when she had her son and the her bf at the time had turned 18 she now 24 and they are going through a divorce he had to register as a sex offender. but yet you cant rape the willing... the state is the ones that pressed charges. as i said you need to careful what you do, 3yrs or older can get you big time behind bars

Yes and no girl is worth that! It can ruin your whole life, esp if you go to prison and have to register that you are a sex offender! I think you just have to stop and really look at the whole situation!

yeah your right to a certain point. one of my friends was dating like that, he was 17 and she was 16 or 15 then when he turned 18 they kept dating. well he ended up breaking up with her and her parents got him for the whole legal thing and he had to go spend some time in the slammer....so be careful.

Rocky, you might want to verify that age. Ask her parents, her friends, anyone that you can. Make sure you get the right age, because women lie about their ages. Hell, men do it too, I've done it even. But, no offense ladies, Women are notorious (where I'm from at least) for lieing about their ages, and they often have fake ID's to back what they say. So, ask her parents and her friends.
