TUCSON - Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever was killed in a single vehicle accident Tuesday night.
It happened around 7 p.m. in the town of Williams. The Coconino County Sheriff's Office is now in charge of the investigation. Dever had been Sheriff of Cochise County since 1996. His death comes just days after the death of his mother, Annie Mae Dever, on Friday. Annie Mae Dever was 86 and lost her battle to cancer. Stay with News-Four Tucson for further updates.
