Arrogance works.

Sure works a lot better than being shy, meek and mild.

I give people way more respect when they are brutally honest... we may not like what they have to say, or the way they say it, but it beats being lied to...

There's a difference between being honest and and being a douche.

I think a guy can be brutally honest but not necessarily be arrogant. I dated a guy like that and it was refreshing as we both could be 100% honest. He even had the balls to tell me that I needed to lose weight and instead of getting mad; I took an objective look and realize he was right.

Arrogance doesn't equal honesty and honesty always requires intelligence. People who tell it like it is are vastly different than guys who hurt you because they can. Arrogance ties with stupidity and self-loathing.

Yup, arrogance and ignorance pretty much go hand in hand.

I can't be with anyone who has a bigger ego than me.

Besides arrogance hardly being attractive in anyone in the first place, honest sure, but arrogant? I'd probably hang myself.

That's your choice right? But being honest is a plus

Growing-up I always heard the old adage: "Pride before a fall!" Later I changed it to: "Arrogance before a fall!"...I think it's important to recognize our skills and achievements in life without getting a "puffed-up head!" And thinking we're "all that!"...I've never really tied arrogance to honesty. I've known some arrogant people who were full of "b/s!" (Braggarts and boasters!)...I'm attracted to people who know their "strengths" and their "weaknesses." I know I do okay in some areas but I'm not the best in other areas. (I'm even "lost" and inept in some areas!)...I'm not necessarily a fan of "super blunt" and "brutually honest" people...I want and appreciate honesty. (Don't want "b/s" or lies!).. But I tend to be more of a diplomatic person. There are many different ways to say things and I try to search for the "right words" to get my point across...The only time I'm blunt or "brutually honest" is when I'm dealing with a "bully" and I need to show some "force!"

I am attracted to someone that has confidence, and cares how they look.I also like someone that can be honest, instead of someone that feels like they must lie for any silly reason!

You can be honest and confident, rather than arrogant.
