My childhood seems just like it was yesterday
When I was free and used to play all day
Many memories when I still recall
A smile comes over my face
Those small fights over petty issues
I miss all of them and mostly
I miss my childhood as it was
The part of my life when I was the most happy
There was nothing called sadness in my life
That is why I miss my childhood the most
Those days of fearlessness and laziness
Spending the whole day playing I miss the most
Miss my childhood the most

Those games played with friends
Those jokes shared with friends
I miss them a lot and I
Miss my childhood the most
That climbing on trees, playing with Frisbees
Miss my childhood the most

Now that I have grown up
And see children play and enjoy their childhood
Tears comes to my eyes
As those days will never come back
I miss my childhood the most
