I thought I might have killed my tomato plant, but it's coming back even better than before! Ruth! Mine died a horrible death I think I know why... I left it in the container and just watered it out of the ground, so basically no nutrients were delivered to the plant... Imma master this next year I'm still gonna throw this years rotten ones at Torgo

I left it in the container and just watered it out of the ground, so basically no nutrients were delivered to the plant... Imma master this next year I'm still gonna throw this years rotten ones at Torgo Well, this is the first year I've been successful but I watered A LOT. Of course my plant sits in 100 degree sunlight all day...not sure what your plant had to face. And then I added fertilizer every couple of weeks or so. We had a huge knock down drag out fight this weekend. I had no idea that thing was grow as big as it did and I needed to get it into a circular fence. Well, that tomato plant didnt want to go in that cage and it put up one helluva fight even going so far as to trip me once. I fell hard and that pissed me off. So, I took a pair of pruning shears and now that mother is in the cage! Of course I felt bad afterwards and was afraid I killed it. But, no! It already has new growth on it. It's growing really fast. I hope it's not coming back for me.
