Vanchau and I are really excited to announce our newest feature for the site: Mutual Match!

Mutual Match is a great way to quickly review profiles and meet just the people who are interested in meeting you! Here's how it works:

1. We'll show you profiles, one at a time, of people that match your search preferences.

2. For each profile, you select "Yes", "No", or "Maybe" when asked if you're interested in meeting him or her.

3. If you select "Yes" or "Maybe", we'll secretly show them your profile the next time they sign in.

4. If they indicate that they want to meet you too, you have a Mutual Match! We will send you an email alerting you to your new match.

5. You can then mail your new Mutual Match already knowing that you're both interested in meeting each other.

With Mutual Match, you can review profiles quickly and easily, and only send messages to people you have a mutual connection with. How simple is that?

To try out Mutual Match, just click on the "Search" tab, then click on "Mutual Match".

This feature is new, so if you encounter any issues, please let us know by posting a message on the forums under the "Bug Reports" section.

where did my friends list go.... i want it back please.. there is no one in my area i wanna match with anyways.

Your friends list is still there - just go to the "My Account" tab, then click on "Friends" just below the blue bar. We're just not showing your friends on the My Account home page any more, but all your friends are still there.

Your friends are in a tab now I think. I found mine =D

I like the idea of Mutual Matches future that you came up with but all my friends on my friends list our gone and all my Testimonials?

Mike -- I was on another site where they used this system, and it has a lot of potential as an icebreaker.

One concern -- on the other site, a LOT of scammers were using the Mutual Match as a way of fishing for customers for their nudie websites, etc. I doubt if it will ever sink to that level here, in significant numbers, but it wouldn't surprise me if a few of them try to slip in under the radar....

Yup we're aware of the potential for that Lex but we've got a few tricks up our sleeve that will hopefully keep them out of there. We'll just have to try it out and see how it goes though.

Definitely let us know if you start to see a lot of scammers coming through.

Maybe it's because I live over 6000 miles away.

It's a cool idea. A lot of the profiles do not really lend themselves to deciding based on what appears when using the feature. Perhaps in the future it will be moved directly onto the individuals complete profile?
