I noticed that one of my all-time favorite people, who has been missing for a little while, is back on my friends list today. I don't want to name names and call any undue or unwanted attention to her, but let's just say that sort of Friend Is Needed Everywhere!

I've noticed the same thing with a few on my friends list. They all eventually come back, though. Which attests to the holdong power of this site...I think.
This is the only one I belong to. What do you think Lex? And where is your instructional post on dating sites? |

Nus, I have belonged to 33,119 dating sites, and there are only a handful that haven't made me want to scream and blow something up, i.e., their entire memberships, and maybe a submarine or two, just for the hell of it.
I deleted an account yesterday on a site I had only been on for about a month. Just an absolute cesspool over there. I'll post something instructional as soon as I understand anything about dating sites, which should be no later than 2048. |

That's because I put in it Relationship Advice, for some reason -- wishful thinking, I guess.
It's still there, I just checked, it's still near the top of the list. Seems to have scared almost everyone out of the forum. Too cerebral....?

Most of my friends are still here. I also belong to a few sites, I find this one to be the BEST, but most are so far away.

The person I mentioned in the first post is someone who has been a friend almost from the day I signed up here. She is one of the most supportive, generous, and caring people I have ever had the pleasure to know, and we stayed in touch even during the time she was away.
Just makes it all the nicer the see her back here, even if it's just for a little while. But I hope it will be longer than that.... |
