Would be hard to go see this given what has happened. So sad what was suppose to be such great fun will feel kind of scarey.

I was a little paranoid at first too, but we can't let some random maniac stop us from living our day-to-day lives.

It can happen anywhere. You could go to get gas or stop at the grocery store. It's just a matter of wrong place wrong time.

I'm too much of a recluse as it is. If it's my time, it's my time. Screw it.

Michael Caine's speech about 'burying too many Waynes' made me want to cry.

If I had never seen The Dark Knight then The Dark Knight Rises would have been a great movie. To me it was a thinking-mans action film because Christopher Nolan always brings that to his movies, so I guess you have to look at it by itself. But if I had to compare it to The Dark Knight (which I was doing when I saw it) I have to say that The Dark Knight was way better. Heath Ledger's Joker is not just the best Joker but one of the best performances on film ever.

if you are coming into the series and have not really read any of the dark knight comics, batman, ANY of the frank miller graphic novels then yes the movie was awesome! however, if you are an AVID reader then this movie wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. Bane's back story ended up being the main vileness and it was like 5 different series all meshed into one.

Chris Nolan decided to take bits and pieces of EVERY story line and try to fit it into one 2.7 hour movie. SOOOOO much more could have been done with this film.
