I just rented this one today. I watched the first one at the theater years ago. My last ex wife's husband was in the Navy with one of the brothers of the actual Chainsaw Family. They were friends. There were, I believe, 11 brothers. Only one never went to prison.

There was no actual Chainsaw family. Tobe Hooper who wrote the original, based it on stories his cousins told him about Ed Gein when Hooper was a kid. The idea of the chainsaw came from when Hooper was standing in line at a hardware store. If there was really a family that these films were based on, there would be documentaries about them, books. Even when the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake was released on DVD, they released it with a documentary about Ed Gein. If there was indeed a real family this was based on, Tobe and crew would have cashed in on that and not told everyone they based it on Ed Gein.

I was very lucky to get off work 2hours early yesterday so i meet up with friends,four of them and we went to see Fast and Furious 6...we actually enjoyed the movie,.dwayne is improving and all the cast played it out so well..
